Generation Z: Soon to be Your Colleagues and Customers Training
As of January 2020, 40% of the American population fell within the Generation Z category (those born 1995-2014). This generation’s perspective on their future careers and customer service is vastly different from previous generations. Rather than having specific consumer expectations based on patterns and behaviors learned from generations that came before them, Gen Zs have a unique set of wants and desires based on their technological upbringing.
AAHOA is excited to partner with the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (FRLA) to offer Generation Z: Soon to be Your Colleagues and Customers Training.
In this training, participants will:
- Gain insight into how Gen Zs differ from previous generations and why those differences exist
- Learn how to respond to the need for speed, instant availability, and constant security in a way that works for hotel owners and GMs and their Gen Z employees and customers
- Develop tools for effective and productive communication between the generations
Upon completion of the training, you will earn a certificate.
There is no additional fee for this training and it is open to the public, not just AAHOA members or AAHOA Convention attendees. Please encourage others to participate and get your certificate.
